Up to Date!

Hey everyone its been a while since weve posted any new events from our band but i think its time to update you all on whats been going on with us.
Last month on December 30, 06 we had a show at Fernando and Oscars house, on which we had built a small venue of dubbed The Garage, complete with stage lighting and live sound system. The show came out to be quite a musical success although our singer was drunk and was not singing to his full musical extent, but aside from that it was a great show and we would once again like to thank all those who came and supported us.
The band as a whole has become a lot tighter and together, we have improved a lot and are more organized and determined. We are currently in the proccess of recording some of our songs although we are looking to get better equipment to accomplish that. Its all coming along good so far and we are happy in the direction we are going as of now. We have also written a new song currently untitled, but its coming out pretty great.
As for the near future we plan to have another show on February 17 at The Garage or Fernandos and Oscars as is known. We will be playing with some other bands and hope you can all come and support us. Songs Posted On Myspace

Over the last three weeks Antiga Prime had decided that it was time to record some matertial and post it for the world to hear so we decided to make some rough home made recordings of the songs. With one mic, and one USB input for the guitars we set out to record some of our songs. At first we decided to record one of our newest and simplest songs "Like A Hole" to see how it would turn out, and to our surprise it sounded pretty awesome, so we continued working on it, even though there were some minor flaws here and there we were satisfied and went on to record another song, for that we chose "Black Diamond" it came out pretty good as well, even better than "Like A Hole" i would say. So now we have finally decided to post those two songs PLUS another song we wrote so long ago and stopped working on, since we posted that acoustic version of the song we might start working on it in the near future but thats a surprise. Hope you guys enjoy them!!

New Song Recorded

We recently finished recording our song "Like A Hole" and I have to say for begginer recording it sounds pretty awesome. We still need to work out the kinks and problems from it but its pretty much done, we may or may no post it up depending on what people we show it too think. Stay tuned

About the Show...

Well, the show came and went and i personally think we did alright, we kind of messed up on the first two songs but the last three came out perfect. Im glad people thought we rock and we would like to thank all those who came and supported us this sunday. The other bands also did very well especially our friends Jersikus and Between Past and Present who played an awesome show. Whats Going On Everyone

Hey, whats going on? I set up this blog as a place to post news from Antiga Prime on a regular basis in a quick and efficient manner. Theres not much to report now except that we are having a show this weekend November 19 at 11 PM. This will be our first real show as a band and we would really appreciate if you would all come support us. The show is at the Cobalt Cafe (www.cobaltcafe.com) this coming Sunday. We hope to see everyone there its only 8 bucks to get in and for less than the price of a boring movie you can check us out but thats not it, playing the same night is our friends Between Past and Present (playing at 9:30) and Jersikus (Playing at 6:30) along with some other awesome bands.
